LegalServer Email Signature Logo Fix

When you send an email to a LegalServer case, the system has the annoying habit of copying the CLA or CWJC logo image from your email signature into SharePoint storage. Your case can easily end up with multiple copies of the image that you then need to delete. No one wants, or has time for that.

To avoid this, instead of placing your program’s logo image into your signature directly, you can place a link to the appropriate logo.

Here’s how to insert a link instead of the actual image into your signature:

STEP 1:

Copy the appropriate image link below by highlighting the link, then right click and choose copy.

CLA: https://login2cla.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/CLAsig.jpg

CWJC: https://login2cla.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/CWJCsig.jpeg

STEP 2:

In the Citrix Desktop version of Outlook, go to File > Options > Mail > Signatures

STEP 3:

Select the signature you want and delete the existing logo image, if it exists.

STEP4:

Place the cursor where you want the logo to appear and click the image add button as indicated by the red box:

STEP 5:

Paste the link to the logo (the one you copied from above) in the “File Name” box and select “Link to File” from the dropdown menu.

Some astute users might say, can I just delete my signature when sending an email to a case? Yes, you can. However, you need to remember to do that each time. Another benefit of doing as described above is that, if our logo is updated, the change will be reflected in your email signature without you having to do anything.
