Transferring files between Citrix and your Local computer

From inside Citrix:

  1. Click on the Windows Start bubble as in Figure 1.
  2. Select Computer
  3. In the Windows Explorer, under the Computer section select the drive near the bottom which is called something like “Local Disk (C: on CLA-S04-XXXX)” (you may need to click the blue Computer icon to expand the list of child drives.
  4. Double click on the “Users” folder
  5. Double click on your User name which will probably be first initial and last name. ex., hleil
  6. You will then see a list of familiar folders (My Documents, Desktop, etc) which you can drag with the left mouse button over to your Citrix desktop as in Figure 2 below.

Note that Windows may request that you allow Citrix to access your local drives. You should say yes and allow read and write.
